The Partnership for Public Service provides Congress with information, data, resources and legislative recommendations to improve the operations and management of the executive branch and to support and strengthen the federal civil service. 

Strengthening Congress

We foster constructive working relationships between executive and legislative branch leaders, provide insights on government performance to improve legislation and oversight, and promote efforts to modernize Congress so it has the capacity to listen, legislate and lead for our diverse nation.  

Policy

We work with Congress to champion stronger talent recruitment and retention systems, better leadership development for federal executives, more effective collaboration across government and sectors, and improved innovation and technology modernization.

Congressional Oversight

Congressional oversight fulfills an important and legitimate role in American democracy, enabling the nation’s legislative branch to identify problems, find solutions and hold agencies and their leaders accountable.  

The Partnership works to strengthen congressional oversight to ensure that our government serves the public effectively.
